Rich and benefitial experience

As my last internship, it was a positive experience from which I've learned a lot, Hermes being the perfect company to improve both my soft and hard skills.

Pros

Competitive salary, well-being and warm feeling of the team players and the management

Cons

Schedule sometimes not balanced enough week after week

Great

The best in luxury. Amazing people and culture. My first real experience in the job market. Needless to say I learned and developed many interpersonal skill sets.

HERMES Boutique great company

The company and the staff was great..In fact one of the best companies I have worked for...Would go back in a heart beat... Everyday you are surrounded by friendly people that accepts you as family. Regardless of your status or position

Workplace culture

Since you start to work with the Hermes family you will fall deeply in love withe the branch and the history. All the metiers are perfectly organized and the best design and elaboration storys to tell to the clients.

Pros

Opportunities to learn

Cons

Not good employee discount

Relaxing environment with a great culture

Even with an overwhelming work load, the environment negates the stress. The culture is family oriented which is a plus. There are flexible hours and the ability to work remotely.

Cons

No work life balance, inability to trust anyone

Fun and productive place

This was the most fantastic company I worked for. The items are unique and corporate was proactive, involved and rewarding towards employees. A memorable place!

Fun place to work and grow

You are given ample space to grow and achieve your goals. Great working conditions, great people to work with and flexible hours. The customer is key.

Culture

great place with amazing people. The culture is practiced widely and great training programs. They hire from within so once your in it s a great place to be.

Productive work environment

It is a very nice company to work for. Always learning new skills. I get to work at the store and corporate level. Everyday is a new day in IT. Great work environment.

Pros

My schedule is good and flexible

Awesome

This is an awesome company to work for. I enjoyed the people and the place. they are great people to work with. Very smart and very helpful and miss working there

Difficult place to work

No benefits, no lunch break, no commission. Hours and days were not flexible. No commission made selling the product difficult with no incentive. Had to clock in and out if needed to take a lunch break.

Cons

no healthcare, unpaid lunches, no commission

Lack of life

Management need to understand that workers are people we are not animals that get yelled at all the time. We follow instructions, not orders. There such a big lack of management training for all, they need to all go back to MANAGEMENT 101 so they understand how do treat and talk to people. I have never worked in a place where the disrespect for others is all over the place.

Never Again

They are more about lining their pockets and protecting the brand than helping associates succeed. I am not sure how they are operating today, as I have been gone several years, but I truly hope things have improved. I would say working in a smaller store would be preferable than to the flagship.

Exciting equestrian pop-ups

Hermes equestrian division is a fun and fast environment to be to in. Beautiful merchandise and lovely clients. Travel was fun to many top horse shows across the United States.

An enjoyable company to work for with a pretty good work/life balance.

As with any company, if you are there long enough you will have interactions with a manager or employee you simply DO NOT see eye-to-eye with. This company is no different, but overall, the experience is great one. From the overall company culture, the store level culture, the work/life balance, benefits, vacation time, and even the employee discount. Working for this company can be a very positive working and learning experience.

Wonderful Company to make your mark with

This is the ultimate in high end retail. The company is everything you imagine it to be and more. It truly requires a real professional to master the roads of the clientele.

Pros

your earning potential is endless

Cons

it's a quiet and competitive environment

A fun workplace to work

It's a small to midsize company but a great place to work. The company is very stable and in the business for a long time and its a run by the original owners.

Fun place to work

While I worked at Hermes of Paris over 25 years ago, I recall the company being very generous to its employees with sample sales, holiday parties, and flexible work schedules based on need. The Corporate Office was a high energy environment supporting company owned boutiques throughout the US as well as high end wholesasle stores ensuring the brand was displayed to achieve the most effective representation.

Pros

Holiday parties, sample sales

Cons

a lean operation with everyone require to provide 110% effort daily

Be able to become knowleageble sales associate

This company provides good training about the company and the products to educate you to be very knowledgeable sales associate. You will love all the beautiful products they offer and be proud to be a part of their long heritage.

Typical French company

Not a lot of room for growth for employees in the states- especially if you dont speak French. Lots of company politics and old school mentality. I would not recommend.
